Well, go figure….just after I make my first post about my new weight loss journey, I have my first fall off the wagon. Tonight, while I was cooking dinner, the coil in our oven literally started sparking and melting. We live in an apartment, and the oven death happened after maintanence had left for the day. Since I had been planning a specific dinner, I didn’t have much else to offer in place for hubby and I. Luckily, I had a few aces up my sleeve for the kids. Hubby and I decided to order pizza with breadsticks and soda (the best deal for what we needed). As I may have stated before, I usually only use half of my daily WW points, I have a weekly allowance of 49 points, and my working out had given me an addition 10 points so far this week. I fell off the wagon…hard. I endulged it all, pizza, breadsticks, and 2 glasses of soda.
In the moment, it all tasted so very, very good, worth going back for seconds, however I regretted it within 20 minutes of being done, and am still regretting it hours later. I went ahead and splurged, and now I know how bad I feel for it. I doubt I’ll splurge to this degree again anytime soon. I might occasionally have a small sweet, or a glass of wine, but it didn’t taste good enough for how I feel. I’ll definitely be hitting the gym tomorrow to atone for tonight.
